Last updated: 30 September 2026

We do not sell your data. We do not use data from Instagram or Facebook for advertising. You can disconnect an account or delete your data at any time — see Data deletion.

Technical and safety information

3. How we use it

4. Data from Instagram and Facebook

Data we receive through Meta's APIs is used only to verify your account, check your submitted reels against campaign rules, track their views and calculate your earnings. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, build profiles from it, or share it with anyone except as described in section 5 (for example, showing an advertiser the view count of a reel you submitted to their campaign). We follow the Meta Platform Terms.

You can remove ClipCurrency's access at any time from the app (Profile → Connected accounts → Disconnect), in Instagram (Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites) or in Facebook (Settings → Business integrations). When you do, we delete the access token straight away and stop reading your data.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data.

6. How long we keep it

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, one-time codes are hashed, and social access tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run the Service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Email join@clipcurrency.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days. In Kenya, you may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

9. Children

ClipCurrency is for people aged 18 and over, because it involves payments. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

10. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
