Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
In short: advertisers fund campaigns; creators post clips of campaign content on their own accounts and earn a set amount for every 1,000 verified views, up to each campaign's limits. Fake views, reused content and breaking a campaign's rules mean no pay. Payment fees are paid by the person paying or being paid.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and ClipCurrency ("ClipCurrency", "we", "us") for using the ClipCurrency app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who can use ClipCurrency
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
- One person, one account. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- The country you choose at sign-up must be where you live. It decides which campaigns and payment methods you can use and cannot be changed without contacting support.
3. For creators
Accounts you post from
- You may only submit clips posted on accounts you own and have linked to ClipCurrency.
- You must follow the rules of the platform you post on (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook).
Submitting clips
A clip is accepted only if, when you submit it, it meets every rule of the campaign — for example: posted after you joined the campaign, from an account whose handle contains the required keyword, with the required caption tag, on an allowed platform, from an allowed country, and with at least the campaign's minimum views. Each clip can be submitted once.
How earnings work
- You earn the campaign's rate for every completed 1,000 verified views (for example, at $2 per 1,000: 2,999 views earns $4).
- Earnings stop at the campaign's maximum per creator, or when the campaign's budget runs out, whichever comes first.
- The view count we track is final, even if a platform later shows a different number.
- New earnings are held for a review period (usually 7 days) before you can withdraw them. If views fall, a post is deleted or made private, or a rule stops being met during that period, earnings are reduced or reversed.
- Once a campaign goes live, its rate and rules can only change in creators' favour. The terms you joined under always apply to you.
Not allowed
- Buying or faking views, likes or engagement, or using bots, view farms or any artificial boosting.
- Submitting someone else's post, or content you do not have the right to post.
- Changing a clip or your handle after acceptance in a way that breaks the campaign's rules.
If we find any of these, we may reject submissions, reverse or withhold earnings connected to them, and suspend or close the account.
4. For advertisers
- You must own or have the rights to all content you upload, and you grant each creator who joins your campaign a non-exclusive licence to edit it into clips and post them on their own accounts for the purpose of the campaign.
- Campaigns must be lawful and must not promote anything illegal, deceptive, hateful or adult.
- A campaign goes live only after its budget is paid in full. ClipCurrency keeps 30% of each campaign budget as its fee; this fee is not refundable. The other 70% is the creator pool.
- When a campaign ends, any unspent creator pool can be used to extend the campaign, kept in your wallet, or refunded to you (refund fees apply).
- You may reject submitted clips that break your campaign's rules. Earnings a creator has already been paid after the review period can only be reversed by ClipCurrency, for fraud.
- Uploaded content is stored for the life of the campaign and 30 days after it ends, then deleted unless you pay to keep it.
5. Payments and fees
- Amounts are in US dollars. Funding and payouts are available by M-Pesa (Kenya), USDT on the TRON (TRC20) network, and bank transfer arranged through support.
- Payment network fees and exchange rates are paid by the person paying or receiving, and are shown before you confirm.
- You are responsible for the payout details you give us. USDT sent to a wrong address or on a network other than TRC20 cannot be recovered.
- We may delay or refuse a payment while we check for fraud, errors or legal requirements.
- You are responsible for any taxes on money you earn.
6. Third-party platforms
ClipCurrency is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or Meta. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. If a platform limits its data, we may be unable to track views on it for a time.
7. Suspension and closing your account
You may close your account at any time (see Data deletion); your available balance can be withdrawn first. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, ClipCurrency is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, or we paid you, in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Kenya. Questions: join@clipcurrency.com.
