Disconnect Instagram or Facebook only
This removes ClipCurrency's access and deletes the access token straight away. Your ClipCurrency account stays open.
- In the ClipCurrency app: Profile → Connected accounts → choose the account → Disconnect.
- In Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → ClipCurrency → Remove.
- In Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → ClipCurrency → Remove.
Removing ClipCurrency in Instagram or Facebook also notifies us automatically, and we delete the data we received from that account.
Delete your whole account
- Withdraw any available balance first — it cannot be paid out after deletion.
- In the app: Profile → Delete account. Or email join@clipcurrency.com from the address on your account with the subject Delete my data.
What gets deleted, and when
| Data | What happens |

| Instagram and Facebook access tokens | Deleted immediately. |
| Data received from Instagram and Facebook (account IDs, usernames, reel details and view counts) | Deleted within 30 days. |
| Your profile, email, linked TikTok and YouTube accounts, and submitted clips | Deleted within 30 days. |
| Payment and payout records | Kept only as long as the law requires (usually at least five years), then deleted. These cannot be deleted early because tax and financial rules require them. |
| Backups | Overwritten on their normal cycle, within 30 days. |
